ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI

The undergraduate architectural engineering program requires four years of study, with the master's degree in architectural engineering requiring an additional two years of study beyond the bachelors degree. Exceptional students may enroll in the dual-degree program in which both a bachelors and masters degree in architectural engineering is awarded after five years of study. For those few who are interested in pursuing careers in both engineering and architecture, a six-year program is available in which students receive degrees in both architectural engineering and architecture, with the academic credentials required to become both a licensed engineer and a registered architect. This is a great program that is unique to the University of Miami and ideal for those students with talents and interests in both engineering and architecture.
