Student Paper Competition held at 2006 Architectural Engineering Conference

Architectural Engineering students are invited to submit essays to the 2006 AEI Student Paper Competition "What does the Future Hold for the Architectural Engineer?". The winning paper will bring $250 for the author, as well as $250 to his or her university's AEI student Chapter.

The best papers will be presented at the conference in Omaha, and the winning paper will be published in an upcoming edition of the Team, as well as posted on the AEI website.

One paper will be accepted from each university; it will besubmitted by the AEI academic advisor, Architectural Engineering Chairman or program head.
  • The paper should be 1500 to 3000 words, double-spaced.
  • Each paper is expected to reference several sources.
  • The paper will include a cover page including: author's name and university, followed by the essay and an appended reference list.
  • The deadline for submittal is February 15, 2006.
The winner of the essay competition will receive a $250 prize given at the AEI Annual Conference in Omaha, the AEI student chapter at the winner's University will receive a $250 prize and the paper will be published in the Team and available for review on the AEI website.
